BACKGROUND:

On December 17, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Agreement No. 141797 with the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) authorizing the replacement of a LVVWD maintained water pipeline in conjunction with the County's Las Vegas Boulevard between Russell Road and Tropicana Avenue (Phases
C and D) project.
Amendment No. 1 to Interlocal Agreement No. 141797 is necessary to increase funding in the amount of $2,063,543.23 to modify the Estimated Water Facilities Cost based on the bid prices received by the County, resulting in a total amount not to exceed $23,703,631.48.

The water facilities installed under this agreement will remain the exclusive property of LVVWD and will become a part of the general water distribution system. Upon completion of the project, the water facilities will be assigned to LVVWD for maintenance.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the amended agreement as to form.
