BACKGROUND:
On July 22, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605375-19 for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System to Sonant Corporation (SBE) in the amount of $1,256,301.05 for purchase of software, hardware, professional services, enhancements, upgrades, annual maintenance fees, and peripherals for the IVR system that was initially utilized by Eighth Judicial District Court, Las Vegas Justice Court, and the Treasurer's Office.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through July 31, 2021, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 provided for the removal of Las Vegas Justice Court in its entirety and added a viral custom application to the Eighth Judicial District Court/Jury.
Amendment No. 2 provided for the removal of Eighth Judicial District Court/Jury in its entirety.
Approval of Amendment No. 3 will provide additional 4, one-year renewal options. The attached Amendment No. 3 document details the modifications and costs involved.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
