BACKGROUND:
On April 27, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Fiscal Recovery Funds for the Counseling-Behavioral Health Program to Jewish Family Service Agency in the amount of $900,000 to provide on-site qualified therapists to address mental health and psychosocial well-being.
The initial Agreement of $900,000 was awarded with federal Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CFDA #21.027). On September 6, 2023, pursuant to the First Amendment the grant award was extended to December 31, 2024. On December 3, 2024, the Board approved the Second Amendment to reallocate the remaining grant award of $423,088.39 to non-federal Clark County Recovery Funds and extend the term of the award to December 31, 2025.
The Third Amendment adjusts the remaining grant balance of non-federal Clark County Recovery Funds to $323,674.66.
