BACKGROUND:

On May 31, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved an award authorizing $700,000 from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CFDA #21.027) to Impact Exchange for their Clark County Harm Reduction program.

On September 18, 2023, pursuant to the First Amendment, the grant award was extended to December 31, 2024.

Due to the federal time constraints under ARPA, staff is recommending reallocating the remainder of this award from ARPA Fiscal Recovery funds to the Clark County Recovery Funds program. The remaining grant award will be funded from non-federal Clark County Recovery Funds.

The following are the pertinent provisions for the Agreement:

1.
Change the funding source from Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CFDA #21.027) to Clark County Recovery Funds to remit $369,456.76 for the request for reimbursements submitted.
