BACKGROUND: 

Nevada Revised Statute 244.276 authorizes a board of county commissioners to exchange county property for other property in the case of the establishment, realignment, change and/or adjustment of a street.

Assessor's Parcel Number 202-26-599-002 is an isolated portion of excess Clark County right-of-way consisting of approximately 0.22 acres.

Approximately 0.51 acres of the Mary E. Blake Trust and Stephen Nevada Fleming Trust property (Assessor's Parcel Number 202-26-501-001) provides access to the fire station in Goodsprings and to Kingston Road.

Clark County Public Works proposes this exchange of the excess right-of-way to obtain property for Beacon Street.
