BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is to provide Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital and Public Service funds to City of Boulder City. As a subrecipient, the City of Boulder City is entitled to a portion of County's CDBG entitlement allocation for the provision of public service and capital projects to benefit the low and moderate income residents of the City.

Projects will include transportation and escort services program for the City's frail elderly and handicapped population, to assist with rent and utility costs in providing emergency aid for the City's welfare population, and rehabilitation of Senior Center building.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026 and includes the option to extend                      for 2, one-year periods upon request.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
