BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607498-25, for Maslow Park - New Fire Station #62 Design & Construction was advertised on March 5, 2025, and opened on April 3, 2025. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for all administrative work as outlined in the Division 01 General Requirements and the following providing all required labor, materials, tools and equipment noted on Drawings and Specifications: Demolition of approximately 40,000 SF of existing splash pad, landscaping, trees, flatwork, parking lot and other items required to prepare site for new construction and operational new 11,055 SF fire station complete with (3) bays and staff area for proper operations; Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage systems. Off-site construction, signalization; a new (approximately) 500 SF multi-use conference room complete with signage, parking area, landscaping and appurtenances including utility pioneering and on-site work; includes coordination Locution Systems as required for fire station operations; includes coordination with Owner vendors (installation); flagpole, digital sign, perimeter fencing, trash enclosure, mechanical yard and tank enclosure and associated equipment. Maintaining existing landscape during construction and ensure all systems modifications follow the construction documents.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 665 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
