This Contract is for the construction of two pedestrian trail undercrossings that are 14-foot wide by 10-foot-high cast-in-place reinforced concrete boxes. The proposed trail undercrossings will tie into a park trail that is currently under construction. The project also includes the installation of a school flasher system and various signage and striping improvements on Robindale Road. Roadway improvements to include removal and reconstruct portions of Robindale Road at undercrossings, plantmix bituminous surface and base, curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk removal and reconstruction, utility adjustments, signage, pavement markings, 16" diameter waterline relocation, removal and replacement of traffic loop detectors, removal of pedestrian flasher assemblies, installation of school flasher system, installation of storm drainpipes, grates, and manholes, and a grouted riprap channel along with associated traffic control and dust control. Trail improvements to include lights for trail undercrossings.
