BACKGROUND:
On July 20, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to accept donations to the department, including personal property valued at up to $2,500 and monetary donations up to $1,000. Individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in personal property or $1,000 in cash will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance at a regularly scheduled meeting.The Palms Casino Resort hosted the inaugural First Annual Sumo Ramen Bowl Eating Competition on April 19, 2025. The Clark County Fire Department secured first place and received a check in the amount of $2,000. These funds are specifically designated to help support the department's Honor Guard.The Clark County Fire Department appreciates the generosity and recommends acceptance of the donation.
