BACKGROUND:

The Department of Aviation has an existing contract with Ricondo and Associates, Inc. (Company) to provide planning services for the SNSA EIS. Company brings expertise in reviewing, validating, and updating conceptual planning information prepared for the proposed SNSA project.

The First Amendment was approved May 2, 2023, to extend the contract term through June 30, 2025, and make available additional funding. This Second Amendment (Amendment) will allow for the option to extend the contract term for an additional three-year period, through June 30, 2028.  The cost of the Amendment will not exceed $975,000.00.  All other contractual terms and conditions will remain the same.

In accordance with NRS 332.115(1)(b), the competitive bidding process is not required because the services to be performed are professional in nature.

The Amendment has been approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. The Clark County Business License Office has determined that Company's vendor registration remains sufficient for this project.
