BACKGROUND: 

Clark County (County) is the owner of Assessor's Parcel Number 243-35-601-003 known as the Searchlight Community Center (Property). On September 17, 2024, the County entered into an Interlocal Lease Agreement with the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension (UNCE) for the installation and operation of a community garden on ±1,262 SF of the Property (Garden). Searchlight Betterment Organization (SBO) desires to fund, install and donate a shade structure over the existing Garden using grant funding. UNCE is in support of this request. Upon completion of construction, the County shall own and maintain the improvements. SBO shall coordinate with the County for installation of the improvements.

The estimated value of this Donation is $60,062.40.
