BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607504-25, for Logandale Sports Complex, Phase II Improvements (SNPLMA) was advertised on March 11, 2025 and opened on April 9, 2025. The Bid amounts are as follows:

*The Bid received from Shaw Lundquist Associates, Inc. is being rejected for not including all Subcontractors Exceeding 1% on Bid Attachment 3 - Designation of Subcontracotrs - Subcontractors Exceeding 1% of Base Bid Amount.
This Contract is for the construction of approximately 10 acres of new sports complex amenities to include playgrounds, splash pad, pickleball courts, two (2) baseball fields and a skate park. Construction includes but not limited to any demolition required to construct or install new features, utility work, and on-site or off-site work required to achieve project completion. Scope includes owner-supplied products.
Deductive Item No. 1 deleted scope on Sheet ES3.0, Overall Low Voltage Site Plan; entirely and Detail 5/E4.0 and delete Security lighting fixture(s) S3 that are mounted on the Musco lighting poles and associated conduit/wire - Refer to Appendix D.
Deductive Item No. 2 deleted Precast Concrete Bollards (32-26) at both North and South Parking lots and delete Signage per detail 4/C6.01 and install standard HC sign. - Refer to Appendix E.
Deductive Item No. 3 deleted Sidewalk path of travel at east side of North parking lot and all associated amenities and delete CMU enclosure wall and gate at existing utility yard and approaching sidewalk. - Refer to Appendix F.
Deductive Item No. 4 deleted Sidewalk behind new field #3 & between new fields 3 & 4 up to bullpen entrance and associated perimeter fence and associated amenities and delete identified Landscape plantings (trees) at area behind Outfield fence (New Baseball Fields) and associated irrigation. - Refer to Appendix G.
Deductive Item No. 5 deleted Sidewalk between existing fields and associated amenities (flag pole remains in scope) and 1 & 2 and delete all new landscape materials, associated irrigation and curbs between Existing fields 1 & 2 - Refer to Appendix H.
Deductive Item No. 6 deleted Sidewalks between new and existing fields including the sunken seating plaza and associated amenities and delete identified Landscape plantings (trees) at space between New and Existing Baseball Fields and associated irrigation. - Refer to Appendix I.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 540 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
