Covered Species Model Updates 2024

Additional Comments:

The initial Agreement amount was $99,806, Amendment No. 1 will increase the Agreement amount by $57,000, for a new total Agreement amount not to exceed  $156,806.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On January 21, 2025, in accordance with the NRS 332 Resolution approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board), the Department of Finance, Purchasing and Contracts Division approved the award of CBE No. 607441-24 to Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education, on behalf of the University of Nevada, Reno (NBE) in the amount of $99,806 for Covered Species Model Updates 2024.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:

                     The term of the Agreement was from date of award through June 15, 2025, and included a 6-month                      extension. 
                     Included the option for either party to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the                      Agreement with advanced 30 day written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for an updated scope of work and to extend the Agreement term through December 15, 2025. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
