BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607506-25, for All Ballfield Shade Structure was advertised on March 17, 2025, and opened on April 16, 2025. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction of shade structures in all ballfields. Scope one is for Sunset Park Ballfields, scope two is for Hollywood Reginal Park Ballfields, and scope three is for Red Ridge Park Ballfields.
Additive Alternate No. 1 is for Ballfields 3-6: Four (4) new 23’6” x 29” multi-panel fabric shade structure over new concrete pad for bleachers. Fabric color dark blue. Powder coat steel shade structure ivory. The price for installations shall include purchasing all required permitting, all associated appurtenances and accessories as required for a full and compete installation of the items and materials.
Additive Alternate No. 2 is for Ballfields 3-6: Paint eight (8) existing dugout roof dark navy blue.
Additive Alternate No. 3 is for Ballfields 3-6: One (1) new 50’ x 50’ pavilion structure with multi-panel shade fabric over new concrete pad. Fabric color dark blue and ivory. Powder coat steel shade structure ivory. The price for installations shall include purchasing all required permitting, all associated appurtenances and accessories as required for a full and compete installation of the items and materials.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 210 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
