BACKGROUND: 

The proposed ordinance amends all references of "Clark County Social Service" and changes them to "Clark County Social Services" within County Code Title 2, Chapter 48, and Title 7, Chapter 7.18, to ensure consistency with the department's official name. 

Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Clark County Code Title 2, Chapter 48 and Title 7, Chapter 7.18, be introduced, and a public hearing be set for July 15, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this item as to form.
