BACKGROUND: 

This contract will allow for shuttle bus operations and maintenance at the LAS Rent-A-Car Center and various locations at Harry Reid International Airport. The contract provides on-site administration, management, staffing, drivers, customer service, and mechanics.

The term of the contract is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, and includes the option to renew for four three-year terms.   

Pursuant to NRS 332.115(1)(c) and (d), this contract is not adapted to award by competitive solicitation as it is for additions to and repairs and maintenance of equipment which may be more efficiently added to, repaired or maintained by a certain person and it is for equipment which, by reason of the training of the personnel or of an inventory of replacement parts maintained by the local government is compatible with existing equipment.

The contract has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. First Transit, Inc. holds a Clark County business license.
