BACKGROUND:
On June 20, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606608-23 for In-Home Foster Kinship Services to Foster Kinship (NBE) in the amount not to exceed $2,640,000 for In-Home Foster Kinship Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 and included the option to renew for 3, one-year periods and included a 3 month extension. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add 2 one-year renewal options, and a 3 month extension. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Foster Kinship currently holds a Clark County Charitable Organization Registration.
