BACKGROUND:
On April 3, 2023, Clark County and the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2022. The IAFF Supervisory membership voted and ratified the agreement on June 5, 2023.
Of the agreement, eighteen (18) articles were amended, one (1) new article was added, two (2) appendices were amended, and one (1) Letter of Agreement (LOA) was deleted.
Eighteen (18) Rules and Regulations were amended, and one (1) was added.
Attachment I contains the summary of changes.
Attachment II contains the proposed entire agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.
Attachment III contains the proposed Rules and Regulations including changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.
Attachment IV is the IAFF Supervisory Unit Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.
Attachment IV is the IAFF Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreement for thirteen (13) impacted IAFF Supervisory Unit positions.
