BACKGROUND: 

Right-of-way engineering for construction of the following projects have identified that partial acquisitions of the following Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) may be necessary:

1.                     Carey Avenue - Pecos Road to Nellis Boulevard
                     APN: 140-20-101-001 (Herrera Ramon Loya & Teresa Jean Reifer)
2.                     Logandale Trails Access Road
                     APNs: 041-27-201-002, 041-27-301-001 and 041-27-301-012 (JCXY LLC)
3.                     Orchard Detention Basin - Charleston Boulevard to Linden Avenue
                     APN: 140-35-601-011 (Arriaza Carlos etal and Butta Jamie G)
                     APN: 140-35-601-032 (Angeli Ronald & Kathryn)

The appraisal reports identified herein will provide information necessary for budgeting and further development of the construction plans as may be required.  Rights-of-way shown on the current plans may be modified based upon acquisition costs, construction costs, and revisions to the plans.  Once the costs are determined and rights-of-way are finalized, authorization to acquire will be requested from the Board of County Commissioners.

Authorization to appraise the above-mentioned Assessor's parcels is now being sought from the Board.
