BACKGROUND:
Crown Mayfair, LLC is proposing a development on Assessor’s Parcel Number 140-26-601-003 located on Los Feliz Street between Washington Avenue and Owens Avenue, and pursuant to a Notice of Final Action filed on May 3, 2021 for land use action ET-21-400027 (WS-0640-15), the property owner, Crown Mayfair, LLC, is required to construct off-site improvements with its development.
The County has a project to construct the Jim McGaughey Detention Basin, Collection and Outfall in the area of the property owner’s project. Crown Mayfair, LLC has requested the County construct a portion of their off-site improvements consisting of an extension of a reinforced concrete box (RCB) in Los Feliz Street as part of the County's project. Crown Mayfair, LLC will participate in the cost of the RCB extension.
The storm drain improvement participation agreement sets forth the terms of the property owner’s monetary contribution for the work to be constructed by the County within the Los Feliz Street right-of-way as part of the Jim McGaughey Detention Basin, Collection and Outfall project.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the agreement as to form.
